In Southern Scares (2026), a young video store worker is drawn into a terrifying mystery after discovering a collection of eerie tapes left behind by her missing sister. As she follows the chilling documentary series known as Southern Scares, forgotten folklore, haunted legends and long-buried secrets begin to blur the line between myth and reality.
With every tape she watches, the darkness grows closer, forcing her to confront an ancient evil that refuses to stay buried. What begins as a search for the truth soon becomes a desperate fight for survival, where every legend hides a deadly secret and some stories were never meant to be told.
